A few years ago, like back around mid 2019, my mom made and gifted bottles of face toner to my sister and myself. The recipe was one she found online. I believe she began searching for a recipe within the pages of pinterest and wound up finding this super cool and easy to navigate essential oil recipe website, OneEssentialCommunity.com.
All three of us loved the toner, but with my mom and I having aging skin, I felt I needed to tweak the original recipe to better suit our needs. Below is the face toner recipe I have been using since 2019. I love the fresh feeling and really love the geranium scent.
I use a glass spray bottle specifically meant for essential oils for my face toner. I shake the bottle before each use then spritz on my face -eyes closed- for an even layer of toner to leave my face/neck/décolleté feeling fresh and revived.
INGREDIENTS
3.5 oz. Thayers Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula - Rose Petal
1/2 tsp. Vitamin E oil (I use Jason brand)
1/4 tsp. Pomegranate Seed Oil
4 drops Geranium Essential Oil
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
2 drops Cypress Essential Oil
1 drop Cinnamon Essential Oil
1 drop Helichrysum Essential Oil
EXAMPLES OF A COUPLE OF THE PRODUCTS THAT I USE IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING. ALSO, I USE BOTH DOTERRA AND YOUNG LIVING AS I FIND THEM BOTH REALLY GREAT! THIS UPCOMING BATCH I INTEND ON PUTTING DRIED ROSE PETALS IN THE TONER BOTTLE AS I BOUGHT SOME ANYWAY TO MAKE A ROSE ALOE WATER. I WILL USE THIS TO SPRITZ ON MY FACE TO ADD MID-DAY MOISTURE AND FRESHNESS. THIS IS ESPECIALLY NECESSARY AS THE COLORADO AIR GETS COOLER AND THE MONSOON SEASON TURNS BACK TO THE DRYNESS OF WINTER.
